About Chief Goba and the Great Kitoma Temple
I am Chief Goba, a proud practitioner of the ancient and powerful arts of Witchcraft at the Great Kitoma Temple, located in Kabuyanda village, Isingiro District, in the heart of western Uganda. I come from a long line of Witches, a family whose deep spiritual connection to the mystical forces of nature has been passed down through generations. For centuries, my ancestors have practiced the sacred craft of MAGIC, using the knowledge, rituals, and guidance given to them by the spirits to heal, protect, and guide those who seek their wisdom.
In our tradition, magic is not a tool to be wielded for personal gain or control, but a gift that comes with great responsibility. It is a sacred bond that connects us to the natural world, to the spirits, and to the very energies that shape our lives. My purpose as a Witch is to help restore balance, offer healing, and guide people toward a better path by tapping into the spiritual wisdom of the land, the water, and the spirits that have always guided our family.
The Legacy of the Kitoma Temple
The Kitoma Temple is more than just a physical space—it is a powerful, spiritual sanctuary that has stood for generations. Located near the sacred River Kagera, the temple serves as the spiritual heart of our practice. The river is the source of all my power and the place where the spirits of the Kitoma Temple originate. It is through these spirits that the knowledge of our ancestors flows, giving us the ability to connect with the unseen world and harness the forces of nature for healing, protection, and guidance.
The spirits of River Kagera are ancient and wise, and their influence on our practices is immeasurable. They have guided generations of Witches in our family, passing down secrets of the natural world and helping us to understand the spiritual energies that flow through the land. My ancestors, from my father to my grandparents, were all powerful Witches, each contributing to the knowledge that shapes our practice today. Through their wisdom, I was chosen at a young age to walk the path of Magic and to carry on the family’s sacred traditions.
My Journey as a Witch
I first felt the call of the spirits when I was very young. From the moment I was born, I was connected to the world of magic, and the spirits of River Kagera whispered to me in my dreams. I didn’t learn magic the way most people learn other skills—there was no school or formal training for me. The spirits themselves chose me, guiding me through visions, dreams, and messages that revealed my path. By the time I was a young adult, I had already begun my journey as a Witch, practicing rituals, casting spells, and connecting with the spirits of the river.
As I began to deepen my understanding of Witchcraft, I realized that this was not just about casting spells or performing rituals. It was about the connection between the seen and unseen worlds, the forces of nature, and the energies that surround us. The spirits of River Kagera taught me that Witchcraft is a sacred art, one that requires humility, respect, and a deep understanding of the balance between the forces of nature. It is a lifelong path of learning, growth, and connection to the natural world.
The Role of River Kagera
River Kagera is the lifeblood of our practice. It is more than just a body of water—it is a spiritual force that holds the power of creation, transformation, and healing. The river has been a source of strength and guidance for my ancestors, and its spirits continue to shape my work as a Witch
The spirits of the river communicate with me in many ways. They speak to me through dreams, visions, and feelings, guiding me in my work and helping me interpret the energies that surround me. I have learned to listen carefully to the river’s whispers, as it carries the wisdom of ages past. Through my connection with the river, I am able to perform rituals, offer healing, and provide guidance to those who seek it.
As I work with the spirits of River Kagera, I also draw from the energies of the natural world around me. The land, the trees, the sky, and the animals all contribute to the spiritual energy that flows through our practices. The spirits of the river, combined with the power of nature, give me the strength to heal, protect, and guide those who come to me for help.
